Day 57: The one where she poops on me
Well it finally happened. I got pooped on.
Yesterday morning as I was getting Abby out of her PJ’s and into some day clothes, I heard her start to poop. I decided not to button up the onesie that was almost securely on her b/c she has a habit of taking several minutes to finish her pooping endeavors.
I had her sitting on my lap…diaper butt to mommy thigh..and she continued pooping, all the while squealing with joy. It felt warm. I thought it as just the warmth of the poo from her diaper. Nope.
I stood up and there it was. Poop on my PJ pants. It wasn’t too much, but enough to make one cringe a bit. And then the thought dawned on me. “Well, at least I don’t have to deal with a wardrobe change for Abby.” That’s when I knew I had finally arrived as a Mommy. It was easier to change my pants than it was to change Abby’s outfit…a thought from previous blowout experiences. I mean having to carefully finagle a poop stained onesie over a wiggling infant’s body is not the easiest. More times than not, I would end up having to clean more than her cute little tush. So yeah, I didn’t mind that I got pooped on, b/c really, it was a whole lot easier to change my pants, than hers.

Haha… been there. done that. Love it!
OMG!! That’s too funny! Maybe even funnier than the poop in the tub story!
I know what you mean about changing the poopy onesie too. Definitely easier for us to change our clothes! It’s amazing what we start thinking of as normal, huh?
O’lucky you!! As a parent-I’ve been there-done that-& Thank God my kids are older!! But… Now I have different worries and I miss the younger years

Very funny!!
I am a new follower from FFF on MBC.
Following you back and you are so right, we are kindred spirits. It’s a travesty that it took us this long to find each other. I’ll be back!
I don’t think I’ve ever been pooped on…wow I hadn’t even realized that and Roo is 20 months old.
