Day 69: Pear of Lemons Onesie Review/Giveaway

My second etsy purchase was from Pear of Lemons, and this etsy shop (soon to be website as well) is actually from someone who is on thebump, so of course I had to support her. She has the cutest onesies with hand sewn on appliques. So because we are big fans of green and big fans of frogs around these parts, I decided to purchase a green froggy onesie. And check out how it came packaged! I don’t know why but I just love it when a seller takes the time to make you feel special with the way they wrap things up.
What drew me to the green froggy one was its uniqueness. It’s not your average cartoony frog, but rather a more realistic one. And the material she used for the frog is quite modern and funky.
The green froggy onesies is Circo brand, which runs small, so I got Abby’s in the 6-9month size, so she can rock it this summer and not have to wear any pants. (The search for some cute babylegs to match is on, though!) I had never purchased this brand of onesie before, but I have to say it is far superior to Gerber. It’s a lot thicker and softer.
If you look up close at the applique, you can see how amazingly well it is crafted. It is surely on their tight. On the site she recommends hand washing the onesies, though, especially if they have ribbons on them. Well, b/c the one I got for Abby was sans ribbon, I decided to give it a try in the washing machine (on cold, delicate and I turned it inside out and let it lay out to dry). I checked the stitching afterward and nothing was amiss. So that’s when I knew I had a good product on my hands.
And since I have been perusing her store, I’ve seen a ton of newer and cuter things she’s added. I mean, look at how modern and funky that dinosaur looks. I think Abby could rock that one too. Plus, she’s started to make some cute and funky burp cloths as well!

I used to love giraffes when I was little and so I really like the giraffe polka dot onesie. A unique shirt! I also love the Easter leg warmers – so fun!
