Day 88: Name Bubbles Review and Giveaway
After hearing a local story a few months back about a daycare employee giving the wrong breast milk to a kid…and then trying to cover it up…I had to find a product to help prevent said things from happening to my breast milk and to Abby when I go back to work. I knew that there were things out there to put on bottles, but I couldn’t remember what exactly they were. So upon my stumbling around the internet, I came across Name Bubbles. I was super psyched to see that they even specifically had a daycare pack of name bubbles that could have Abby’s name on them. I mean I was just looking for those bands you could put around bottles, but was amazed at all the other things Name Bubbles had for my daycare needs.
In the daycare pack you get dishwasher safe labels so that you don’t have to worry about relabeling bottles, as well as laundry safe labels so all of Abby’s extra clothes won’t get lost (and I don’t have to use the old school “write her name on the label with a sharpie” thing). And you also get some fun water resistant stickers to put on odds and ends that may be left at daycare like diaper cream or lotion bottles or her personal toys. In this daycare pack, you get 140 labels, which include:

The first step to ordering labels for Abby was to choose the pack design. Then I chose the icon (we went with the treefrog), color palette (we went with kismet), bubble shape for the dishwasher safe shaped bubbles (we went with flower), and then what we wanted it to say (we went with Abby’s full name).
And of course I had to test them out for you. So here are some shots of the dishwasher name bubbles. And trust me, they are before and after, though you can’t really tell the difference, b/c they are just that awesome…well the after shots are still wet so I guess there’s your difference. (And no, they don’t come with a big black stripe on them.)
And for the laundry ones it is recommended to put them on the clothing label, but a bunch of Abby’s clothes have the labels right on the clothes, so I tested putting the name bubbles directly on the clothes as well has the separate label, and they each did perfectly fine. And again here, you can’t tell the difference b/c they are just that awesome. (I tried getting a super up close shot to show how great they were in the after, but I have sucky photography skills at the moment.)
Overall, I was really impressed at how all the laundry and dishwasher labels performed. And the dishwasher ones have gone through several more times after the pictures above were taken and they are still securely on.
Name Bubbles also has some other packs that I think I will be getting in the future as Abby grows like their school pack and their camp pack. (Though they have loads of other packs to choose from.) I have a feeling we are are going to become fast friends with this company.
