Day 114: A little help from my friends

***CLOSED***
…and the winner comment is…

So now that I’ve been back to work for two weeks, I’ve decided to try getting guest bloggers again.  (I put a halt on it for a while b/c it is just a lot to manage when you have all the other aspects of life going on.)  But alas, having guest bloggers will in the long run help by doing one post a week…since I did make this a 365 day blog of sorts.

So my friend over at Raising Madison, has so graciously offered to help me out.  She is one strong momma!  If you haven’t read her blog, you should read about her strength by checking out…

1.  How she overcame cancer
2.  How she is working through Madison being in a body cast
3.  How she is working through being laid off b/c of her devotion to the medical needs of Madison

So if you haven’t already, go check her blog out.  Then come back here and leave a comment telling Raising Madison what you would like her to blog about.  I will leave comments open for a few days and then I will use random.org to pick what her topic will be.  Her post will run next Sunday.

…and don’t forget to check out this giveaway

i’d like to hear about the average day in the life of Madison :)

Hmmm… I have a lot of questions. Here’s one: Do you think your own medical history has made you more or less “paranoid” as a mother and what do you plan to tell Madison about your struggles?

I’d like to hear about how you stayed strong through her surgery–I would have lost it. Molly hates everyone and I can’t imagine letting strangers cart her off–that would be so hard.

Once in a while a blog sucks you in and when I found hers that’s exactly what it did. Love her story. Sorry, I don’t have any suggestions just can’t wait.

She sounds like a great lady!

I’m a Welcomista & am stopping by to welcome you to SITS. I’m also hosting a giveaway on my blog if your interested in stopping by.

    Have a great night!

How have the “Your Baby’s First Year” books changed for you now that Madison’s development has gone off the course of those books?

How would you re-write those “how to be a mommy” books?

what is the hardest thing about being unemployed? what have you done to “make it work” and do you desire to go back to work? I guess that was three questions.

What are your celebration plans for when Madison’s cast comes off? Will you be doing anything for YOU? (PS. You should, you deserve a medal for being such a strong momma.)

Does she have any regrets (be it baby related or not) or wishes she had done things differently?

Btw, I’m an avid reader of Raising Madison, and now I’ve got to yet another great blog to read (365/30+) and not a single baby (yet!).
    I’m simply preparing myself :)

Wow – I never knew she has gone through so much – my question would be if blogging has helped her through any of these experiences and if so, what has she found to be the most rewarding aspect?

I’m suggesting something so “Raising Madison” stops tweeting about it ;) Just Kidding hun!!!

Um, why don’t you blog about one of your favorite childhood memories (vacations, family traditions, or random fun stuff). I love family stories!

This may be a harder one to accomplish, but I would love to hear Daddy’s version of Raising Madison. :o )

I’m a newer reader of Raising Madison, but I’m wondering if, when and how you’ll tell Madison about her interesting 1st year.

    You’re a very strong lady!!
